Abstract

Pemahaman konsep merupakan salah satu kunci keberhasilan belajar siswa pada materi tertentu. Adanya miskonsepsi dapat berdampak pada kegiatan dan hasil belajar siswa. Materi sistem ekskresi merupakan salah satu materi Biologi kelas XI IPA SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil miskonsepsi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 pada Materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptifyang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 berjumlah 144 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 4 kelas, sedangkan sampelnya kelas sejumlah 72 siswa yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online dengan pengerjaan soal pilihan ganda ditambah dengan indek CRI setiap butir soal. Teknik analisis data dari hasil tes siswa dengan teknik “Certainty of Response Index” (CRI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi miskonsepsi pada beberapa konsep sistem ekskresi manusia diantaranya sub konsep fungsi organ ekskresi manusia dengan persentase miskonsepsi tertinggi sebesar 45,8%, sub konsep zat-zat yang terkandung dalam hasil proses ekskresi manusia miskonsepsi tertinggi sebesar 61% sub konsep struktur organ ekskresi manusia dengan presentase miskonsepsi tertinggi sebesar 84,7%, dan sub konsep gangguan atau kelainan pada sistem ekskresi manusia dengan presentase miskonsepsi tertinggi sebesar 43,1%. Rata-rata secara keseluruhan presentase miskonsepsi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri I Jogonalan pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia adalah 65.8% paham konsep, 17.7% miskonsepsi, dan 16.4% tidak paham konsep. Penyebab miskonsepsi pada siswa ini adalah siswa dalam memahami konsep secara tidak lengkap pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia, penalaran dan pemikiran yang tidak lengkap pada suatu informasi ataupun konsep pada suatu materi mengakibatkan penarikan kesimpulan yang salah sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya miskonsepsi. PROFIL MISKONSEPSI SISWA KELAS XI IPA SMA NEGERI 1 JOGONALAN TAHUN AJARAN 2019/2020 PADA MATERI SISTEM EKSKRESI MANUSIA ABTRACT Understanding the concept is one of the keys to student learning in certain materials. The existence of misconceptions can have an impact on student activities and learning outcomes. The excretion system material is one of the Biology materials for class XI IPA SMA. This study aims to look at the profile of the XI IPA class students' misconceptions at SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan for the 2019/2020 academic year on the Human Excretion System Material. This research is a descriptive study conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan. The population in this study were all class XI IPA students of SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan for the 2019/2020 academic year which said 144 students were divided into 4 classes, while the sample consisted of 72 students taken by purposive sampling. The data technique is done online by working on multiple choice questions plus the CRI index for each item. Technique of analyzing data from student test results using the "Definty of Response Index" (CRI) technique. The results showed that there were misconceptions in several concepts of the human excretory system, including the sub-concept of the function of the human excretory organ with the highest proportion of misconceptions 45.8%, the sub-concept of substances contained in the results of the human excretion process, the highest was 61%, the sub-concept of structure structure. Human excretory organs with the highest misconception presentation was 84.7%, and the sub-concept of disorders or abnormalities in the human excretory system with the highest misconception presentation was 43.1%. The causes of misconceptions in these students are students in understanding the concept incompletely in the human excretion system material, incomplete reasoning and thinking on information or concepts in a material that causes errors that cause misconceptions.
