Abstract
Sangkrah is one of the villages in the solo city known as the city of culture, but the location of the Sangkrah village which is between a large river and a dense settlement, Sangkrah becomes a village known as a slum village. The arrival of a volunteer who was moved to chang e the village of Sangkrah, establishing a lotus reading house to give a change to the village of Sangkrah by holding positive activities, one of which was to develop the potential of the community with a painting industry. Until now it has become a new tourist area. Namely the painting village Sangkrah. Langk Sangkrah Village has the potential because it has a unity among the many Sangkrah communities who care about the development of tourism in the Sangkrah Kampung area. With its human resources, so it has the advantage to be the center of solo city tourism. So the arrangement of the area is needed to strengthen the image of the region by utilizing the environment and surrounding communities by accommodating all tourism activities by applying concepts from the theory of Kevin Lynch (1969) such as (1) Path (Path); (2) Edge; (3) District (District); (4) Nodes (Nodes); (5) Tangeran (Landmark). And the provision of adequate facilities for tourists who come. The discussion method used is qualitative-descriptive using primary data from field observations and secondary data from literature reviews. From the results of the analysis and concept, the results obtained are in the form of design proposals in the area of development in the form of amenities with functions as a Tourism Center, Café, Souvenir Shop, Workshop Room, Plaza, and Homestay
