Abstract

Science process skills (KPS) can be defined as mental, physical, and competency abilities that are used as necessary tools for effective science and technology learning such as problem solving, individual development and social development. This study aims to determine the science process skills of students of class X MIPA SMA N 3 Klaten in biology practice even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with data collection using a questionnaire on Google forms. The population used in this study was the students of class X MIPA SMA N 3 Klaten with a total of 108 samples, and carried out at each student's home in March to July. Aspects used in this study include observing (observation), using tools and materials, predicting (hypotheses), interpretation of data, and communication skills in writing (reports). Based on research conducted shows the ability of science process skills in class X MIPA SMA N 3 Klaten is categorized very well with the acquisition value of KPS 81.67%.
