Abstract

Comics are literacy that can provide an attraction to read. Because it contains a combination of images and text. In addition, comics can also be works of art that can convey messages of the value of moral education in everyday life. The Muhammad Al-Fatih comic series is a historical comic of Islamic heroes which tells of the struggle to conquer Constantinople. The purpose of this study is to describe the values of moral education contained in the Islamic comic "Muhammad Al-Fatih" series. This research uses a qualitative approach and this type of research includes library research. Analysis of the data used in this study is the analysis of Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotics which is focused on the classification of typology of signs and triangles of meaning aimed at analyzing the meaning of the research subject. Data collection used was documentation and interviews with Comic writer Muhammad Al-Fatih. The results of this research in this comic there are 3 scopes of moral education values, namely morality to God, morality to humans, personal morals. (1) The value of moral education to God Almighty is shown by faith, resignation to God, be patient in every thing that is happy or unfortunate, obedience to Allah, obedience to all sins, and give thanks for God's help. (2) The value of moral education to humans is shown by a form of affection for others, firm stance, and ta'awun or help. (3) The value of personal moral education is shown in self-discipline, shay'ah, forgiveness, and tawadhu '.
