Abstract
This study aims to describe: 1) integration of 21st Century Skills in the preparation of the English curriculum by teachers, 2) integration of 21st Century Skills in the implementation of English language learning, and 3) integration of 21st Century Skills in the evaluation of learning English at SMP Negeri 1 Penawangan. This type of research is a qualitative research with a case study design. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive model analysis. The results of the study concluded: 1) Integration of 21st Century Skills in the preparation of the English curriculum by teachers is done by inserting the concept of 4C skills in the preparation of an educational calendar, annual program, semester program, syllabus, lesson plans, and Minimum completeness Criteria. Preparation of the educational calendar by arranging and scheduling English subjects on the days and hours of lessons, compile an annual program by preparing data on Core Competencies-Basic Competencies, class hours, subject matter, learning media and the agenda of teacher activities, preparation of the semester program by preparing information activities related to learning for one semester, compiling a syllabus for one school year, preparing lesson plans by substituting communication skills, cooperation, thinking critically and creatively in learning activities, develop a Minimum completeness Criteria (KKM) by determining an average KKM threshold value of 76. 2) The integration of 21st Century Skills integration in English learning implementation is carried out by applying and implementing 4C skills in all learning components, are the aim that students can develop communication skills, be able to cooperation, be able to think critically and creatively with a focus on strengthening the character of responsibility, confidence and courtesy that can be achieved in every learning activity, the material used was report text material which was then formulated in the syllabus and lesson plans, learning methods implemented by combining scientific approaches and demonstration, discovery learning, discussion, practice and group learning methods that depends on the type of material, characteristics of students, and the situation and conditions of learning, media used include LCD projectors, laptops, pictures, reality, transactional interaction transcripts, stationery and dictionaries, learning resources used are books, television, internet, and the surrounding environment, The evaluation instruments used are questions covering midterm questions, semester questions, daily questions in the form of multiple choice, true and false, essays. 3) Integration of 21st Century skills in English learning evaluation is carried out by evaluating the integration of 21st Century Skills into curriculum, methods, media, learning resources using academic supervision tools, evaluating the material using the instrument of studying the lesson plan, and evaluating learning completeness using teacher coaching instruments.
