Abstract
This publication is based on the results of research aimed at describing online purchasing decisions by teenagers in Sajen Village. The basic method used is the qualitative method. The population in this study were teenagers in Sajen Village who made online purchases . The determination of the sample area was carried out intentionally in Sajen Village right in the Trucuk District and only 3 sources were taken through interviews. The data analysis technique used is the triangulation technique. The number of speakers as much as 3 consisting of 1 resource who make purchases online through social media whatsapp and facebook, 1 resource person made a purchase through whatsapp social media , and 1 resource person made a purchase through Instagram social media . The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that online purchases were only made in part. Because consumers have different purchasing criteria. Social media is used as a tool to see the items being sold, because it saves time and energy compared to buying at the store. So, not all teenagers make purchases online because there are still teenagers who make conventional purchases so the purchase sthe online way to use it is still less effective.
