Abstract
This research aim to describe the reflective thinking process of students in solving mathematical problems trigonometric content in different majors in student grade X SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura. This type of research is qualitative research. This study took 6 students as research subjects consisting of 2 students from different expertise programs or departments. Data collection technique were carried out through test instrument, video recording, field note, and interview. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation technique. Triangulation technique used by comparing test instrument with field note, and interview. Data analysis technique used were data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that each research subject had different reflective thinking abilities. However, subjects from the fashion department have better reflective thinking abilities than subjects from the other expertise programs or departments. Based on the research that has been done, the researcher suggests giving regular practice questions so the student can trigger their reflective thinking abilities.
