Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the form of code switching and mix on Maudy Ayunda's Instagram account and to describe the relevance of code switching and code mix in Maudy Ayunda's Instagram account in learning Indonesian in high school. Research is a type of descriptive research with qualitative methods. The data in this study were obtained from the Maudyayunda instgram account which was uploaded from March to July 2019. The data collection techniques used in this study were listening and note taking. Data analysis techniques in this study were carried out using the matching method. While the data validity technique in this study uses triangulation techniques. The results of this study concluded that 1) the form of code switching on the Instagram account of Maudy Aunda was code switching over Inter-sentential switching. 2) The most dominant form of code mixing on Maudy Ayunda's Instagram account is code mixing in the form of insertion of elements in the form of a Clause. 3) The relevance of code switching and code mixing in Maudy Ayunda's Instagram account in Indonesian language learning in high school is as an alternative teaching material with learning material in BC 3.3 Analyzing editorial / opinion texts, both orally and in writing and KD 4.3 Editing editorial / opinion texts, in accordance with the structure and rules of the text both orally and in writing. The teacher can use code switching speech and code mix on Maudy Ayunda's Instagram account as an example in learning activities.
