Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the RME approach using prezi media on the ability to solve problems and self-confidence in multiplication material third grade Ngadirejo 01 Elementary School. This type of research is quantitative with an experimental design using control and experimental classes. The control class uses a scientific approach, while the experimental class uses the RME approach with prezi media. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses t-test and multiple classification anava test. The t-test was used to test the effectiveness of the RME approach with prezi media on problem-solving abilities and the effectiveness of the RME approach with prezi media on self-confidence, while the anava test was used to test the effectiveness of the RME approach with prezi media on problem-solving abilities and self-confidence. Data analysis was performed with the help of Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of data analysis, tcount > ttable is obtained in the t-test 4,79 > 2,04 and 2,49 > 2,04 while in the anava test 2,83 > 2,44. Thus Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it can be concluded that the RME approach with the prezi media was effective in the ability to solve problems and confidence in the third grade multiplication material at Ngadirejo 01 elementary school.
