Abstract

The development of technology is rapid that make people’s lifestyle change. One of them is financial technology where the innovation is related to financial services that easier people to do the transactions. In addition to create new products or services, the banking industry also must be prepared to compete with the emergence of new industries which namely startup that expanding its market. Therefore, banking industry services are expected to always improve that they are able to reach all levels of society, especially the 3T regions (frontier,outermost and remote). By using a SWOT analysis of the implementation of this financial technology, it is hoped that the quality of banking services can be improved therefore used by all levels of society. This study uses case study approach at Bank X in Jakarta. Based on research that has been done, it is known that there are strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges in implementing financial technology for Bank X in Jakarta. By Looking at these factors, the result can be obtained and determine what strategy chosen by Bank X to achieve the goal.
