Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has natural beauty and abundant resources, making Indonesia one of the countries that have many tourist destinations, including marine tourism, nature tourism, or mountain tourism which is spread throughout Indonesia. Tourism is a very promising sector as a source of state revenue, a lot of foreign exchange is obtained from foreign tourists, one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia, namely the province of East Java. This province is famous for its natural attractions, one of which is the Magetan district, specifically the Sarangan area which is located right on the slopes of Mount Lawu. The tourism object in Sarangan is Sarangan Lake, the lack of supporting facilities makes it less than optimal for tourism development in Sarangan. The design of Green Forest Resort is considered to be one of the efforts to develop tourism in Sarangan. the reason the resort was chosen is because sarangan only has one tourist attraction, it is Sarangan Lake, Green Forest Resort is a nature-oriented resort and is planned to be built near the pine forest with a view of Mount Lawu and also the pine forest. Designing a green forest resort with the concept of eco and edu agriculture. Resort that can provide education about agriculture to visitors. It is hoped that with this design visitors can be educated to always protect Indonesia's nature, without damaging the elements in it. The construction of this resort as a form of utilization of the Sarangan mountains. Aside from being a tourist activity, green forest resort is also expected to be a source of income for the community around Sarangan. Keywords: Sarangan, resort, Eco Edu Agriculture
