Abstract

This research is motivated by the one of the most important education for children is religious education. Religious education is a conscious and planned effort in preparing children to recognize, understand, appreciate, to believe in, the teachings of Islam. Implementation to achieve this goal Islamic education must be carried out inside and outside the school, one of the educational institutions in the school (SMP / MTs) that provides lessons in the field of Islamic Education. Islamic Religious Education in practice must be held jointly between education in the family, school and community. Researchers examine the Role of Parents in children’s Islamic Religious Education in the Industrial Environment. This study aims to determine how the role and obstacles of parents on Islamic education of children in the industrial environment in the village of Telukan, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency. This type of research is field research. Field research aims to describe or describe and solve practical problems in society. Data collection techniques are field observations, interviews, and documentation. There are 4 components of the data analysis model used in this study, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed the role of parents in Islamic religious education for children in the industrial environment in Telukan village, Grogol sub-district, Sukoharjo regency: as follows: giving mind education, giving religious education in children and giving moral education.
