Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describ the improvement of student learning outcomes mathematics through inquiry learning. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research are 18 students of grade VIII Reg II MTs Al-Mukmin Muhammadiyah Tembarak. Data collection techniques are tests, observations, field notes, and documentation. The result of this research indicates an increase in student learning outcomes. Before the action is student who scored above the KKM or ≥ 70 were 6 students, in the first cycle increased to 11 students and in the second cycle increased to 16 students. With the average value before action to 58, in the first cycle increased to 71 and in the second cycle increased to 77. Based on the results it conclusion of student learning outcomes improved after applying the inquiry learning model to the algebra material in class VIII MTs Al-Mukmin Muhammadiyah Tembarak Academic Year 2019/2020.
