Abstract
Reflective thingking is an individual’a thought process to solve problems through active and thoughtful activities acconpained by clear reasons for a doubt that arises when solving problems and can be overcome through a process of understanding, motivation, and evaluation. Types of reflective thinking will be categorized into reflective thingking that is clarification, connecting, and being productive. This research will reveal the reflective thinking process pf each category in solving analytic geometry problems of coordinate systems and line equations based on aspects of techniques, monitoring, insight, and conceptualization. This research is a qualitattive descriptive with the subject of the Mathematics Education Study Program University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta students who have taken analytic geometry courses in the second semester. Data collection is done by questionnaire, test, interview, and field notes. The result showed that subjects with reflective, clarifective, and productive reflective thinking met all four aspects, although not all indicators of each aspect were maximally carried out by each subject.
