Abstract

The backgound of this research problem is the teacher as the spearhead in the learning process is expected to be able to plan a learning into a learning plan. Learning plan that is not in accordance with provisions of the existing process standards is feared to affect the learning outcomes of students. The objectives of study are (1) to describe the principal’s perception of the teacher’s understanding in compiling a plan for implementing k13 learning at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta and (2) to describe the efforts of principal’s to improve teacher understanding in preparing plans for implementing k13 learning at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. The method used in this research is observation, interview and documentation. The validity used are triagulation of data sources and theory triagulation. Data analysis technique used are data reduction, presentation and drawing conclutions. The results showed that (1) Principal’s perception of the understanding of class I teachers on preparing learning implentation plans in SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta can be said have been quite good. (2) In training in the form of workshops, seminars, teacher working groups and others.
