Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the effect of tutoring on learning achievement, (2) the effect of learning motivation on learning achievement, (3) the influence of tutoring and learning motivation on learning achievement. This research is associative quantitative. The population of this research is 104th grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Boyolali. Samples taken as many as 80 students with proportional random sampling technique by lottery. Data obtained through questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, R² test, effective contribution and relative contribution. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained by the equation Y = 55.197 + 0.075X1 + 0.115X2. The conclusions of this study are: (1) Tutoring has an effect on learning achievement. Proven value of the tcount > ttable is 2.080 > 1.991 with a significance value <0.05 ie 0.000 with Relative Contributions and Effective Contributions of 30.48% and 10.88%. (2) Learning motivation influences learning achievement. Proven tcount > ttable is 3,975 > 1,991 with a significance value <0.05 i.e. 0,000 with Relative Contributions and Effective Contributions of 69.78% and 24.91%. (3) Tutoring and learning motivation affect learning achievement. It is proven that the value of fcount > ftabel 21,368> 3.12 with a significance value <0.05 which is 0,000. (4) The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.357 shows the magnitude of the influence of tutoring and learning motivation on learning achievement of 35.7%. While the remaining 64.3% is influenced by other variables not examined.
