Abstract

Higher-order thinking skills are analyzing, thinking, and creating. In Indonesia, the high-level thinking ability of students is less than optimal, one of the causes is that other students have less difficulty in solving questions that measure HOTS. Problem HOTS probability material. In this study only using the method of analysis and evaluation. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using essay tests and interviews as a data collection method. This research uses technical triangulation and source triangulation for the validity of the data From the results of the analysis and discussion it is concluded that most students have moderate ability to think in both the analysis and evaluation aspects. Factors that influence students' abilities at a moderate level. Students will understand how students work in the process. Some students have the ability to think highly Most aspects of the analysis while the assessment aspects only one student who has the ability to think highly.
