Abstract

The research on the management of the Youth Information and Counseling Center at Sragen SMP Negeri 5 aims to describe about (1) the planning of the Youth Information and Counseling Center in Sragen State Middle School (2) the implementation of the Youth Information and Counseling Center in Sragen Public Middle School and Information Center evaluation. and Youth Counseling at Sragen 5 Public Middle School. The method in this study uses qualitative methods. Collecting data with interviews, observation and documentation. To test the validity of the data using triangulation of data and analysis of negative cases. The conclusions in this study were extracurricular planning of the Youth Information and Counseling Center at SMP Negeri 5 Sragen carried out by compiling School Work Plans (RKS and RKAS), student programs that regulate all extracurricular activities at Sragen Public Middle School including the extracurricular work program at the Information Center and Youth Counseling (PIK-R) made by the Trustees together with the PIK-R Advisor, The PIK-R extracurricular activities at Sragen State Junior High School 5 are held every Wednesday after the children come home from school, usually those who have been selected as peer educators and internal counselors the service of the selected PIK-R program through several tests from the tutor teacher. The coach and mentor provide material that must be understood and understood by members, peer educators and peer counselors, where in the implementation of the extracurricular activities PIK-R counselors are assisted by peer educators and peer counselors, the evaluation conducted by Sragen SMP Negeri 5 aims to provide value to development Qualitatively, the evaluation of the PIK-R extracurricular activities at the SMP Negeri 5 Sragen will be written in the framework of the change of management, which will be filled by PIK-R members who have undergone a year of activities and selected through the selection and participation of PIK-R members in this extracurricular activity really and can be used as cadres of peer counselors and educators who can be expected to be able to advance PIK-R in SMP Negeri 5 Sragen or even become PIK-R cadres in Sragen Regency.
