Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the application of inquiry methods to student learning in class and to know the effect of student learning outcomes through inquiry learning methods. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. Data collection is done by using the method of observation, document review, interviews, and tests. Based on the results of research on the application of inquiry methods in learning Ad Text, the results show that there is an influence on learning Ad Text. From the learning outcomes of students on average can achieve high grades and the results of the questionnaire that has been spread after learning shows that many students who strongly agree if the Inquiry method is applied in teaching and learning, students feel happy and have increased grades. With the inquiry method students find it easier to understand ad text material.
