Abstract

This research aims to identifythe analysis of language errors in the field of morphology on narrative essays of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kartasura. This approach uses a classroom action research. The type of research is qualitative research with descriptive method. Data collection is done by observing and using the method of documentation, taking notesand tests. Based on the result ofidentification of errors that have been obtained, then processed through technical data analysis work. The data obtained by the technique of reading each essay by students’ VII grade and taking note the use of the error language. Based on the results of research on writing a narrative essay in the field of morphology by identifying essays of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kartasura and identify based on the type of error. The type of errors found in grade VII students’ essays are,the error writing prepositionals, the error use of prefixes, the error dispel of prefixes, the error use of confixes and the error writing of suffixes.
