Abstract
The research objectives are to describe: 1) authentic assessment planning in integrated thematic learning at SD Negeri 03 Bulu; 2) carrying out authentic assessment in integrated thematic learning in SD Negeri 03 Bulu; 3) the problems encountered and the solutions made in the implementation of authentic assessment and how to overcome them. The research method uses qualitative research. Resource persons from class V teachers and school principals. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data in research through triangulation of techniques and sources. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of this study indicate that: 1) planning will go well the teacher makes an assessment plan with reference to the syllabus and learning plan; 2) the implementation of authentic assessment is carried out by the teacher through the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains; 3) the obstacle of authentic assessment faced by teachers is that many teachers find it difficult to put grades into report cards because teachers have not been able to use IT properly, lack of training in authentic assessment. The solution is to immediately recap the value of the students, calling in tutors from outside regarding authentic assessments who already know about the 2013 Curriculum.
