Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effects of: (1) school culture towards upper class students's environmental caring character at SD Negeri Girimargo 1 (2)parenting style towards upper class students's environmental caring character at SD Negeri Girimargo 1 (3) school culture and parenting style towards upper class students's environmental caring character at SD Negeri Girimargo 1. The research was classified as a descriptive quantitative research. The population of this study was all students from grade IV and V of SD Negeri Girimargo 1 which the total are 59 students. All members of the population were as sample of the research. The techniques of data collecting were using questionnaires and observations. The prerequisite tests used were normality test and linearity test. While the data analysis techniques are linear regression, ttest, Ftest, the coefficient of determination. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that (1) School culture has an positive and significant influence on the students's environmental caring character. (2) Parenting style has an positive and significant influence on the students's environmental caring character. (3) School culture and parenting style have an positive and significant influence on the students's environmental caring character.
