Abstract

Every implementation of learning activities there are always problems or problems. This is because learning activities do not always take place naturally and in accordance with the plans that have been made, including the learning of jurisprudence. Poblematika must be addressed immediately so that it does not reappear in the future. The formulation of the problem under study is: what problems do students and teachers face in learning fiqh and how is the solution? The research objective is to find out the problems faced by students and teachers in learning fiqh subjects and solutions to overcome these problems. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The informants used as resource persons were: seventh grade students and fiqh teacher in Al Firdaus Junior High School Surakarta. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis techniques using interactive type qualitative analysis consisting of the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion. The results showed that: (1) Problems faced by students in the fiqh learning process at Al Firdaus Kartasura Middle School: among others: students were less enthusiastic and less attentive, students' abilities were uneven, some students were lazy when they followed the practice of worship. Problems faced by teachers: lack of creativity, discrepancies between learning plans that have been prepared with their implementation in the classroom, monotonous, very minimal time allocation, students are very difficult to control, and difficulties in evaluating; (2) The solution to the problems faced by students in the fiqh learning process at Al Firdaus Kartasura Middle School is an examination of the students 'psychological conditions, increasing the attention of students, and providing a matter that attracts students' attention. Solutions for teachers: motivating students, variations in teaching methods, equipping learning facilities, having to be creative, rotating seats, and following correct evaluation procedures.
