Abstract
Education is the most important thing in human life because every human being deserves and hopes to always develop in education. Indonesia needs to position itself as a nation that is literate, so it is necessary to develop efforts, both through formal and non-formal education. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference between the use of Think, Talk, Write (TTW) learning models and conventional models of reading comprehension skills in fifth grade students, to find out the differences between the use of Comperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning models and conventional models of reading comprehension skills in class V students, to find out the difference between the use of the Comperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model and the Think, Talk, Write (TTW) learning model towards reading comprehension skills in grade V students of SD Negeri 9 Purwodadi. This type of research is a comparative quantitative study with a non-equivalent control group design. The results of this study are the Comperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model that has a significant difference with the control class, Think, Talk, Write (TTW) learning model has a significant difference with the control class, and the Comperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model and Think, Talk, Write (TTW) learning models do not have significant differences in reading comprehension skills.
