Miftah Prabandani/A520150034. EFFORTS TO IMPROVE CHILDRENS MEMORY THROUGH SINGING METHODS IN GROUP A IN KINDERGARTEN TUNAS HARAPAN 01 PARANGJORO, GROGOL, SUKOHARJO AT 2018/2019 ACADEMIC YEAR. Essay. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. August, 2019. This research aims to improve the memory of student group A in Kindergarten Tunas Harapan 01 Grogol at 2018/2019 academic year through singing method. Subjects in this research were group A students in Kindergarten Tunas Harapan 01 Grogol. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which have done in two cycles with five meetings. The research procedure in each cycle there are several stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using observation, interview, documentation, and field notes. Based on the result of research conducted in pre cycle, cycle I, and cycle II, showed improvement of memory of student group A in Tunas Harapan 01 Grogol . This can be seen from before the implementation of cycle obtained by the result of the student reached 38,18%, Cycle I of 62,27%, and Cycle II of 88,63%. The conclusion of this research result is through singing methods can improve memory of student group A in Tunas Harapan 0 Grogo1.
