Abstract

ABSTRACT Worship is a term used to cover all things that are liked by God in the form of words, deeds both inner and outer. The scope of worship is very broad. One that is required of humanity is prayer, because prayer is a worship that will be calculated first in the end. The development of worship discipline must be started early, which can be done by parents at home and in various educational institutions.The problem in this study was the first, how the efforts to foster the worship discipline of class VII students at the Al-Hikam Banyudono Islamic Boarding School, the second is any obstacle to fostering the discipline of worship in seventh grade students at Al-Hikam Banyudono Islamic Boarding School. This research is qualitative research, by taking place at Al-Hikam Banyudono Islamic Boarding School . In collecting data, the author conducted a field study with data collection methods in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis is done by deductive method, which departs from the theory that has been built, then associated with real data in the field. According to the research, the author can draw the conclusion that for enhancing the discipline of worship class VII in Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikam Banyudono done in a way that the first is an attempt builder in disciplining students praying, indicating the urgency of the implementation of the prayers on time, m arouses regulations to students attend prayers in congregation, advising santri who do not want to pray in congregation, giving punishment to students who do not pray in congregation, providing motivation so students pray in congregation. The second is an effort to educate students in disciplining fasting Monday and Thursday, showing the urgency of the implementation of fasting Monday and Thursday, establishing togetherness fasting with sahur and opening together, giving examples of fasting Monday and Thursday to students. And the third is the effort of the coach in carrying out the reading of the Qur'an, showing the urgency of reading the Qur'an, giving advice so that students like to read the Qur'an, as well as teaching santri who have not been able to read the Qur'an.
