Abstract
This study aims: (1) To describe the factors that can create creativity and innovation for entrepreneurship, (2) To describe the ways students fostered their interest in entrepreneurship, and (3) To describe the ways students increased their creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship. This research used qualitative research with ethnographic research design. The subject of this study was students of Accounting Education FKIP UMS 2015. The object of this research was in Accounting Education Program, FKIP UMS by using the technique of collecting data of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The validity of the data used in this study is source triangulation. The results showed that: (1) Factors capable of creating creativity and innovation in Accounting Education students were (a) Consumer demand, (b) Trend development, (c) Consumer saturation, and (d) Consumer satisfaction. (2) Ability to foster student interest in entrepreneurship through (a) Experience wanting to try new things and (b) Circumstances surrounding: circumstances that require entrepreneurship, personality factors to be successful, and entrepreneurial skills factors from the family. (3) How students improve creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship can be done by looking for trends, looking at competitors, attending entrepreneurial seminars, and continuing to practice.
