Abstract
Based on the observations done by researchers at the Aisyiyah Pucangan Kindergarten 1 Kartasura, using center learning model, but in learning the center did not have English language learning. In addition, in the exposition that held the kindergarten also does not exist in the English language, so as to develop the development of children's ability in obtaining English vocabulary tends to be less. The purpose of research is to learn the improvement of language skills in the media of the Big Book in the group B in the Kindergarten Aisyiyah Pucangan 1 Kartasura school year 2018/2019. Research subject is all student group B in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Pucangan1 Kartasura. Methods of collecting data through observation methods, interviews, documentation, and field records. Based on the results of observation there is an increase in children's language development of 16 children at the pre cycle (39.25%), cycle I (52.47%), cycle II (73.04%). The results of this research show the Media Big Book can improve the language skills of the group of children B Kindergarten Aisyiyah Pucangan 1 Kartasura year lesson 2018/2019.
