Abstract
This study aims to: 1) describe the implementtion of the socialization model to model through controversial issues in the mass media collaboration strategy Phisycal Self Assessment can develop democratic attitudes 2) knowing how 2) knowing how much the development of democratic attitudes through controversial issues in the mass media collaboration of the Self Self Assessment strategy. This study used the Pre-experimental type method with the design of the One Group Pretest Posttest. This research was conducted in Kuwung Sari, Sragen Kulon Sub-District, Sragen Sub-District, Sragen Regency with a population of 40 and 20 samples. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used the questionnaire method, and observation. Indicators of the value of Indonesian unity in this study are: 1) freedom of expression 2) respect for differences of opinion 3) understanding diversity in society 4) upholding values and human dignity 5) mutual respect. The validity of this research is content validity by using the Pearson Product Correlation Formula formula. Reliability uses the Cronbach Alpha formula. Normality of the data in this study used the Shapiro Wilk test. Data analysis in this study used paired sample t-test. The results showed that t count 6.68907936 was greater than t table 2.086 with a significance level of 0.05 and obtained a pretest average value of 135.15 to 147.65 in the Posttest. Based on the results of the Pretest and Posttest data, it is then compared to obtain a difference of 12.5. This means that there are differences in the development of Kuwung Sari cadets, Sragen Kulon Subdistrict, Sragen District, Sragen Regency between (Pretest) and after (Posttset). Based on these results it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a development of democratic attitudes in the Kuwung Sari youth group in Sragen Kulon Sub-District Sragen District Sragen Regency after a socialization model was conducted through controversial issues in the mass media collaboration Physical Self Assessment strategy.
