Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims (1) What is the planning of character values in Purwantoro 1 Public Middle School? (2) How is the implementation of character values in Purwantoro 1 Public Middle School? (3) How to evaluate character values in Purwantoro 1 Middle School? Data collection techniques by means of observation (observation), interviews (interviews), documentation (documentation), triangulation of data. The validity of the data uses triangulation of data. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman models during the research. Activities in data analysis include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. Research result. In Planning, there is planning and implementation through the integration of routine school activities, exemplary, included in SK, KD, SI, syllabus and lesson plans. In the implementation, it shows that in the implementation of the school, namely the principal, teacher, committee and all school members have made the planning phase which includes socialization, curriculum development, making rules and regulations agreed upon and then implementing the character education activities program implemented in all subjects, through extracurricular activities, habituation activities. In evaluation, it is imperative for teachers and school committees to what extent the achievement of maximum results in the development of character values is developed through learning, extracurricular activities, habituation.
