Abstract

Research aims to: (1) the influence of family environment on student character (2) the influence of school environment on student character (3) the influence of the family environment and the school environment on student characters. This research uses quantitative method with a population of 31 students of class V. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, data analysis using multiple linear regression, t test, f test, R2 and SE and SR tests. The results showed that: (1) There was an influence of family environment on the character of students with tcount> ttable (2.625> 2.045) and significance value (0.014 <0.05)(2) There was an influence of school environment on the character of students with tcount> ttable (3.170 > 2,045) and the significance value (0.004 <0.005) (3) There is an influence of family environment and school environment on student character by obtaining Fcount> F table 13,055> 3.34 with (0.00 <0.005). The test results (R2) of 0.483 namely the influence of family and school environment variables with the character of grade V students of SD 1 Kebakan are 48.3% while 51.7% are influenced by other variables.
