Abstract
This study discusses to analyze the effect of image and product quality on purchasing decisions. The population of this study was Vans shoe users among FEB students of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The sampling technique used in this study is non probability sampling with a type of Purposive sampling which is a sampling technique based on certain criteria on the respondents. Based on the methods and techniques taken the sample obtained as many as 100 respondents who fit the criteria. The data collection method used is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques in this study are validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression test, accuracy test of estimator parameters (t test), accuracy test model (F test) and determination (R2). The results showed the product image and product quality towards purchasing decisions in FEB students of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta.
