Abstract
Product quality is a match between product usage and customer needs. Customer satisfaction and loyalty are indicators of the business continuity of a company. Manufacturing companies must be able to provide products that match the quality specifications to customers. PT. XYZ is a textile company that has various divisions, one of them is the printing division. This division has an important role in increasing the company's revenue and reputation because of its capacity of 14.5 million meters per year and 3000 designs per year. However, in particular the printing process still produces products that do not match the specified quality specifications. Quality can be measured based on the quality costs incurred to produce the final product according to the standard. This study aims to explore quality costs including hidden cost of quality and opportunity costs that occur in the printing process. The method used is descriptive analysis. Data collection is collect by interviews, observation and documentation. The results show that the highest total cost quality was direct quality costs of 86.82%. The quality control program in the company is good. It shown by the comparison of total quality costs and sales value of 2.11%, which is less than 2.5%. The highest hidden cost of quality is the cost of reviewing customer needs of 64.65% of the total hidden cost of quality. The management of the printing division can group the same customer needs so that the time spent is more efficient and can reduce the cost of reviewing customer needs
