Abstract
This study aims to study whether the socialization model of the character values of patriotism by using the strategy of a Guidance Reading Combination of the Quiz Team can improve youth understanding in Tunggul Village, Gondang District, Sragen Regency. This study used an experimental method of pre-experimental type with the design of one group pretest posttest. This research was conducted in Tunggul Village, Gondang District, Sragen Regency with 100 participating samples and 20 samples. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire and observation method. The indicators used in this study are: 1) Faithful and obedient to the applicable laws and regulations, 2) Proud of Indonesian waters, 3) Soul and personality of the Pancasila, 4) End of high law and governance, 5) national, 6) Using voting rights in elections, 7) Studying knowledge in earnest, 8) Preserving national culture. The validity of this study is the content validity by using the Pearson product moment correlation formula. Reliability using the Cronbach alpha formula. The normality data in this study uses the Shapiro Wilk test. Data analysis in this study used paired sample t-test. The results showed that the count of 9,646500886 was greater than t table of 1,725 with a significance level of 0.05. The average pretest score of 31.85 increased to 43.9 in the posttest. Based on the results of the two pretest and posttest data are then compared in order to obtain a difference value of 12.05. Suggestions about improving soil quality by using a Quiz Combined Reading Guide strategy for youth in the stump village Gondang District Sragen Regency.
