Abstract

Along with the development of technology and times in the modern era, human demand for economical transportation needs and costs for mobility are increasing. to facilitate accessibility, convenient, safe, fast transportation with affordable costs is needed to be able to cancel the existing congestion, it needs to happen in a big city. The presence of online-based transportation such as online motorcycle taxis, as an innovation in overcoming transportation difficulties in Indonesia. Online motorcycle taxis reap a lot of pros and cons for most, most of the base motorcycle taxi transportation because most of the allocated for work and repairs to the budget are made according to policies that regulate the red zone for online motorcycle taxi riders. This study discusses: 1) Analyzing the broad scope of red ojek online zones in Surakarta, 2) Analyzing factors that support the red zone of online motorcycle taxis in Surakarta, 3) Analyzing the patterns of distribution of red ojek online zones in Surakarta. Data collection is done by observation method in two ways, namely census conducted on all populations by planning the coordinate region points, second by non-probability sampling technique. Online motorcycle taxi drivers and bases at each point in the red zone. The results showed that the red ojek online zone in Surakarta has an average area of 500 m from the main point, the red ojek online zone in each region has a different policy on the agreement between the two parties. The pattern of the red zone distribution of online motorcycle taxis in Surakarta City spreads in areas that have high mobility stations such as stations, terminals, markets. The existence of a red ojek online zone provides an opportunity to interact with other countries.
