Abstract
This study aims to: 1) Know the application of the Muri-Q method on memorizing Al-Qur'an juz 30 grade 3 students at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta. 2) Knowing the learning strategies of tahfidz Al Qur'an 3 juz used by the teacher in implementing the muri-Q method for grade 3 students at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta. 3) Knowing the obstacles experienced during implementing the muri-Q method on memorizing Al-Qur'an at the end of juz 30 grade 3 students at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data of this study uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that: 1) The application of the activities of tahfidz Al-Qur'an is when students listen to tartil Al-Qur'an juz 30 every morning before learning, in learning every 1/2 times in the week a rote deposit is held with the supporting teacher, at during the day the students murojaah together after performing the duha and dhuzur prayers in congregation under the guidance of the class teacher. 2) The use of strategies in learning tahfidz Al-Qur'an with games such as guessing the name of a letter, the use of finger signals. 3) Constraints faced when students memorize new letters that are just learned and obstacles in the implementation there are still some students who are late in following the learning of tahfidz of the Qur'an juz 30.
