Abstract
Abstract This study aims to describe: 1) Implementation of academic supervision, 2) Programs to improve school quality, 3) Innovations made by schools for quality improvement, 4) Obstacles in quality development efforts, 5) Solutions made to overcome existing obstacles in quality development in Gajahan State Primary School. This type of research used in this study is a qualitative research with a design phenomenon. The research information is the principal, teachers and students. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity checking techniques with triangulation techniques methods and sources. The results of the supervision implementation research are 1) The implementation of academic supervision is in accordance with academic supervision techniques. 2) Programs for improving the quality of schools in Gajahan State Primary Schools include: Self-development, Scientific publications carried out by teachers who have the status of Civil Servants, and Innovative Work has never been made by Gajahan State Primary Schools. 3) Innovations that have not yet been implemented are transferred to other activities. 4) Constraints experienced in terms of financial and personnel trainers. 5) The solution implemented by the Principal is to prioritize Islamic habituation.
