Abstract

Amaerikna Humiyarlina/A520150049. THE INFLUENCE OF DAY CARE TREATMENT ON CHILDREN’S INDEPENDENCE AT NUR HIDAYAH SURAKARTA OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018/2019. Thesis, Faculty Of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, July 2019. Based on the existing problems, this research is motivated by a day care that parents use to entrust their children. This research aimed to determine the effect of nursery care on children’s independence in TKIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta of the academic year 2018/2019. The approach of this research is quantitative descriptive. This research was conducted at TPA PB IT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. The subjects of this research was children aged 2-3 years TPA PB IT Nur Hidayah Surakarta as many as 12 children and the entire population was getting a research sample. The technique of data collecting was using questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses Simple Linear Regression analysis, it can be concluded as follows: There is no effect of day care on children’s independence and there is the influence of day care on children’s independence. This is evidenced by the results of the “t test” using the SPSS 15.0 for windows program. The results show t table > t count or 1,796 > 1, 682 (significant level 5%) which means H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected whereas if using a significant level 1% the results show t count > t table or 1, 682 > 1,363 means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on these results it can be seen that there is no significant influence between the care of the day care and the independence of children in TKIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta of the academic year 2018/2019 and there is a significant influence between the care of the day care and the independence of children in TKIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta of the academic year 2018/2019 .
