EXPERIMENTATION OF MATHEMATIC LEARNING WITH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING STRATEGY AND CIVIL LEARNING TO STUDY RESULTS REVIEWED FROM LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE LEARNING IN SMP NEGERI 1 GESI 2018/2019. Essay. Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Muhammadiyah University Surakarta. October, 2018. The objectives of this study are (1) Analyzing and testing the effect of the Problem Based Learning Strategy and scientific learning on learning outcomes. (2) Analyzing and testing the effect of learning independence on learning outcomes. (3) Analyzing and testing the interaction of learning and independence learning strategies towards the learning outcomes of mathematics. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi experiment design. The population in the study was all students of class VII SMP N 1 Gesi, with research samples VII C and VII D. The technique of collecting data using test models, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses two-way variance analysis with cells not the same as the results of the analysis with a significance level of 5%. Based on the data analysis, the results are that: (1) There are differences in the influence of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and scientific learning on mathematics learning outcomes, where the learning strategy of the scientific learning provides better learning outcomes compared to Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning strategies. (2) There are differences in the influence of the level of student learning independence on mathematics learning outcomes, students with high motivation levels are better than students with moderate and low motivation levels. (3) There is no influence of the learning strategy interaction and the level of student learning independence towards the learning outcomes of mathematics.
