Abstract
Scientific learning is a 2013 curriculum learning that leads to the process of observing, asking, trying, associating, and communicating with the competencies of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of students. However, the teacher plays an important role in learning to determine the success of students. The purpose of this study was to describe the description of the application of scientific learning in biology class X teachers in SMA N 3 Klaten in the academic year 2019. This type of research is a qualitative description research. Respondents of data sources are 2 class X biology teachers who teach different classes. The data collection technique in this study is by observation and documentation. Based on the research that has been done the results show that the application of scientific learning in class X SOS 2 by teacher A is sufficient (52.94%), in class X SOS 3 by teacher A including good (72.90%), and in class X MIPA 3 by teacher B including poor (36.10%). So, it can be concluded that the application of scientific learning biology teacher class X in Klaten 3 nd High School Academic Year 2019 is sufficient (53.98%).
