Abstract
This study aims to analyze and examine (1) the difference effect of learning strategy Student Teams Achievement Division and Think Pair Share the mathematics learning outcomes, (2) the dfference effect to mathematics learning outcome viewed form of student activity, and (3) the interaction strategy of learning Student Teams Achievement Division, Think Pair Share, and student activity mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative research with quasi experiment. This study population is the entire class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta 2018/2019. The sample in this study consisted of two classes with sampling techniques using random cluster sampling. Data collection techniques using methods of documentation, test and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using two-way analysis of variance technique with different cells. Research results with significance level of 5% is (1) there is a difference effect of learning strategy Student Teams Achievement Division and Think Pair Share the results of student mathematics learning, Student Teams Achievement Division strategy more effective than Think Pair Share strategy toward learning result (2) there is difference effect of student activity on the results of mathematics learning, student with high learning activity in categorized better than moderate or low learning activity, and (3 ) there is no interaction between learning strategy of Student Teams Achievement Division, Think Pair Share and activity in learning on student's mathematics learning outcomes
