Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) the influence of student perceptions of teacher teaching skills on student satisfaction, 2) the effect of learning facilities on student satisfaction, 3) the influence of student perceptions of teacher teaching skills and learning facilities on student satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative associative. The population in this study were students of XIPS in Economic Subjects in Kartasura 1 Public High School as many as 180 students. The technique used was proportional random sampling of 119 students. Data obtained by documentation and questionnaire techniques. The previous questionnaire method was tested with validity and reliability tests. Data analysis was performed by multiple regression techniques, including t-test, F-test, R² test, relative contribution, and effective contribution. The results of the study using regression analysis obtained a regression equation: Y = 21.128 + 0.145X1 + 0.128X2. The results of the study concluded: 1) there was a significant influence between students' perceptions of teacher teaching skills on student satisfaction as evidenced by the t-count value of 2.848> t-table of 1.980 and probability of 0.004 <0.05. 2) there is a significant influence between learning facilities on student satisfaction as evidenced by t-count of 2,110 > t-table of 1.980 and a large probability of 0.002 <0.05. 3) there is a simultaneous influence between students' perceptions of teacher teaching skills and learning facilities because student satisfaction is evidenced by the F-count value of 4.362> F-table of 3.07 and probability of 0.015 <0.05. 4) variable student perceptions of teaching skills provide a relative contribution of 85% and effective contribution of 37%, while variable learning facilities contribute relatively by 15% and effective contribution of 6%. The results of the coefficient of determination get a value of 43%, meaning that the student perception variable about teacher teaching skills and learning facilities has an influence of 43% on student satisfaction, the remaining 57% is influenced by other variables.
