Abstract

Muhammadiyah 5 Middle School Surakarta is one of the schools in Surakarta that has a tahfidz al-Qur'an learning program using the halaqah method. Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta Middle School targets at least 3 juz memorized students within three years, with achievements of juz 30, 29 and 28. Tahfidz al-Qur'an learning aims to realize our human beings, halaqah method is used in tahfidz learning because it is considered more effective in its application. The researcher examines how the implementation of the halaqah method in tahfidz al-Qur'an learning in the special class program of Muhammadiyah Middle School 5 Surakarta and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Qur'anic tahfidz learning in the Surakarta Muhammadiyah 5 Middle School special class program implementation of the halaqah method in tahfidz al-Qur'an learning in the Surakarta Muhammadiyah 5 Middle School special program class and identified the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the halaqah method in tahfidz al-Qur'an learning in the Surakarta Muhammadiyah 5 Middle School special program class. This study included a type of qualitative research that used field studies at Muhammadiyah 5 Middle School in Surakarta. Techniques for collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation from various parties of the school elements. And the analysis carried out by the deductive method which departs from general events is then reduced to special parts. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of the halaqah method in tahfidz al-Qur'an learning in the Muhammadiyah Middle School 5 Surakarta special program class is the time to implement the halaqah method in tahfidz al-Qur'an learning starting at 07.00-08.00 WIB. The learning steps are starting with the initial activities, then the core activities and closing activities. Reasons for choosing the halaqah method because it is more effective in learning. The source of the tahfidz al-Qur'an study is the Qur'an and the guidance book on worship and student monitoring. Evaluation of tahfidz al-Qur'an learning with the halaqah method is measured by oral examinations with their respective cleric / ustadzah. The advantages of applying the halaqah method in tahfidz al-Qur'an learning, the halaqah method is more effective to use, it is easy to motivate small numbers of students. While the lack of the halaqah method in tahfidz al-Qur'an learning is students feel bored and lack of learning time.
