Abstract

Uncontrolled hypertension caused complications such as stroke, heart failure disease and renal failure. For patients, it is important to implement self management of hypertension to prevent and reduce the impact of complications. This research aims to know the description of self management of people with hypertension in Grogol Puskesmas District Sukoharjo. The method used in this study is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach, this type of research is quantitative. Samples used 46 respondents who actively followed the Prolanis obesity obtained by total sampling techniques. The instruments used are Hypertension Self Management Behavior Quetionnaire (HSMBQ) which has been modified as well as in the validity and reliability test. The results showed that the most hypertension self management in the category was sufficient. It can be concluded that the self management of hypertensive respondents who participated in the activity of Prolanis at the health center of Grogol Sukoharjo District has implemented and implemented self management in monitoring the disease of the hyperlink
