Abstract

Education has a very important role in improving and developing the potential of students. To support the achievement of educational goals set by the government, the quality of teachers must be considered, in this case related to Islamic religious education teachers and manners. In improving the quality and potential development of students, education teachers have six competencies that must be owned and applied well and professionally. This research entitled Implementation of Islamic Education and Character Education Teacher Competence Case Study in SMP N 03 Satap Juwangi Boyolali Academic Year 2018/2019, with the formulation of the problem of How to Implement Competencies in Islamic Education and Character Education Teachers in One Roof Junior High School 03 Juwangi, Boyolali ?, Is the output of Islamic religious education and mind subjects in accordance with the graduation standard (SKL)? With the aim of discussing the application and teaching given by Islamic religious education teachers and manners in carrying out their duties as educators. This research is qualitative research, taking place at SMP N 03 Satap Juwangi, Boyolali. In taking the author's data using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation, researchers will process the data by analyzing the data that has been obtained using interactive analysis techniques. After the data is collected in its entirety, the next stage, data will be processed to be presented, and the final stage of conclusion. Taking conclusions made by researchers, using the deductive approach method, passing conclusions from the general, to specific. The purpose of this study is to explain and explain about the implementation of the competence of Islamic religious education teachers and manners. This research is a type of qualitative research. The results of this study researchers draw conclusions regarding the implementation of the competence of Islamic religious education teachers and character in implementing the competence of Islamic religious education teachers in SMP N 03 Satap Juwangi, Boyolali still not optimal in implementing and developing competencies. There are still several competencies that have not been implemented properly, in developing and delivering material, evaluating is still not optimal. There are still those who teach not as well as the qualifications set by the government, in upholding professionalism it is still not optimal. The state of schools that are all lacking underlies the ineffectiveness of teacher professionalism, in order to provide and meet student needs. While for the output of students it is quite good in achieving the assessment level that has been set, and is able to understand and accept the material well, and be able to have competitiveness in terms of achievement.
