Abstract

Homeschooling is the decision making of a family to take responsibility for their children's education and educate their children by using the home as the basis of their education. The purpose of the research is to describe Mathematics learning in class VII homeschooling Kak Seto Solo. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Research subjects of class VII community programs. The community program is a plural learning program that composes and determines syllabus, teaching materials, main activities (sports, music / art, and language), facilities / infrastructure, and learning schedules. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of analyzing data is through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that Homeschooling Kak Seto Solo had community learning, distance learning, and semi-community programs. In general, learning at Homeschooling Kak Seto Solo is in accordance with Minister of Education Regulation No.41 of 2007 concerning the standard process consisting of preliminary, core and closing activities. Learning begins with planning by compiling a plan for implementing learning in accordance with the KTSP curriculum. Process standards contain components: (1) learning planning; (2) Learning objectives are in accordance with competency standards and basic competencies to be achieved; (3) The main learning resources used are modules compiled by the institution itself; (4) Flexible learning activities adapted to the character and circumstances of students starting from the preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities; (5) The method used refers to learning criteria that are intelligent, creative, and cheerful; (6) Learning media used vary; (7) Evaluations carried out by HSKS start from daily evaluations, weekends, monthly to semester. Regarding the assessment of Solo HSKS student learning outcomes taken from daily tests, fortopolio assignments collected every one month, UTS, UAS and also attitudinal values that are important concerns for students in addition to academic values.
