Abstract Nia Febriyani / A210140024.Self-Motivation And Perception Of The Accounting Teacher Profession To Interest In Accounting Teachers In Students Accounting Education Department Faculty Of Education And Science Education University Of Muhammadiyah Surakarta 2016 Class. Essay. Teaching And Education Faculty, Muhammadiyah University Of Surakarta. December, 2018. The Purpose Of This Study Was To Find Out: 1) The Effect Of Self Motivation On The Interest In Becoming An Accounting Teacher; 2) The Influence Of Perceptions Of The Accounting Teacher Profession On The Interest In Becoming An Accounting Teacher; 3) The Influence Of Self Motivation And Perceptions Of The Accounting Teacher Profession On The Interest In Becoming An Accounting Teacher. This Type Of Research Is Descriptive Quantitative Research. The Population In This Study Were 333 Accounting Students In 2016. Samples Were Taken As Many As 167 Students With Simple Random Sampling Technique By Drawing. Data Collection Techniques Using Documentation And Questionnaires. The Instrument Trial Was Conducted On 20 Students. The Data Analysis Used Is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, F Test, T Test, R2 Test, Relative Contribution And Effective Contribution. The Results Of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Obtained The Regression Line Equation Y = 31,898 + 0.631x1 + 1,183x2. Based On The Results Of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis It Can Be Concluded That: (1) Motivation Has An Effect On The Interest Of Students To Become Accounting Teachers Proven To Be True. This Is Based On Multiple Linear Regression (T Test), It Is Known That The Results Of T Count = 7.488>Ttable = 1.974. (2) The Perception Of The Teaching Profession Influences The Interest In Becoming An Accounting Teacher Proven To Be True. This Is Based On Multiple Linear Regression (T Test), It Is Known That The Results Of T Count= 16,532>T Table=1,974.(3) Self-Motivation And Perceptions Of The Influential Teaching Profession Simultaneously On Students' Interest In Becoming Teachers Proved To Be True. This Is Based On Multiple Linear Regression(F Test), It Is Known That Fcount> Ftable, Which Is 147,700>3.05.(4) Self-Motivational Variables Provide A Relative Contribution Of 15.8% And Effective Contribution Of 10.2%, While Perceptions Of Accounting Teachers Make A Relative Contribution Of 84.2% And Effective Contribution Of 54.2%. (5) The Results Of The Calculation Of The Coefficient Of Determination R2 Are 0.643 Or 64.3%. This Means That Becoming An Accounting Teacher Is Influecedby Self Motivation And Perceptions Of The Accounting Teacher Profession And Career Guidance By 64.3%, While The Remaining 37.7% Is Influenced By Other Variables Outside Theresearch.
