Abstract
Interpersonal intelligences are one of multiple intelligences that very important to develop. Well-developed interpersonal intelligences in kids will help them to build social relationship with peer, family and neighborhood. Low in interpersonal intelligences can make kids experience juvenile delinquency, bullying, lack in emotion expression, also difficulty in establish a social relationship. This condition didn’t meet the expectation to child development as social being. Various intervention for improve interpersonal intelligences can be use. One of them is playing board game. 24 student at Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta Junior Hight School who had moderate and low interpersonal intelligences levels, the results of the interpersonal intelligences scale measurements were divided into two groups, which were carried out by random assigment. This experimental study used true-experimental pre-post control group. The hypotheses analysis using the Wilcoxon technique with Asymp.Sig posstest p= 0.053 and follow-up p= 0.183 (p <0.05). There was a not significant influence between the groups given the pandering intervention compared with the group that not given the playing board game intervention. Thus the intervention of playing board game is not effective to improve the kids interpersonal intelligences.
