Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the relationship between organizational culture and employee happiness, (2) determine the level of organizational culture, (3) determine the level of employee happiness (4) know the role or effective contribution of organizational culture with employee happiness. The method used in this study is quantitative research methods. The method used to collect data uses the Organizational culture Scale and the Employee happiness Scale. The subjects of this study were employees of the PT. Aneka Karya Unggul. Subjects were determined using quota sampling consisting of 50 employees of the PT. Aneka Karya Unggul. Data collection techniques in this study use organizational culture scale and employee happiness scale. The filling of the organizational culture scale and for filling the scale of employee happiness is carried out by employees of each part. Validity test results on the organizational culture scale there are 0 items that fall 48 items that are valid and on the employee happiness scale there is 1 item drop and 83 items are valid. Based on the results of the teamwork analysis obtained α value of 0.802 and for employee happiness obtained α of 0.925. The results of the analysis using Product Moment Correlation obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.699 and a significance of 0.000. The variable organizational culture included in the high category with an empirical mean (RE) of 136,08 and a hypothetical (RH) mean of 120. Then the variable employee happiness was included in the high category with an empirical mean (RE) of 245,06 and a hypothetical mean (RH) of 207,5. Then for effective contribution from variable organizational culture with variable employee happiness of 48.8%. This shows that there is a positive and very significant relationship between organizational culture and employee happiness of employees of the PT. Aneka Karya Unggul.
