Abstract

Football is a sport that is famous in the world. The level of density of ball fans in Indonesia in a match can reach 96%. The fanaticism of Indonesian supporters ranks third after England and Argentina. This study aims to understand and describe fanaticism in Pasoepati football supporters. This study aims to understand and describe fanaticism and the factors that influence fanaticism at Pasoepati. Informants in the study were suors who were status as Pasoepati. The informants numbered nine informants, seven of whom were male and two of them were female chosen by snowball sampling. Data collection used in the study used an open questionnaire and deepened with interviews. The results of this study to describe how fanaticism behavior at Pasoepati. Besides fanaticism, there are also factors that influence fanaticism at Pasoepati. The conclusions from this study show that Pasoepati is fanatical about the PERSIS team, fanaticism of the fans includes the love of the PERSIS team, always supporting and feeling proud to be Pasoepati. The results of this study reveal that Pasoepati's fanaticism behavior includes direct behavioral support when PERSIS competes and provides indirect support by carrying out positive activities outside of watching matches. But in the results of this study found the behavior of rationality that makes informants perform behaviors that are not good. Then the factors that influence Pasoepati fanaticism include regional factors, social environmental factors, and family factors.
